Sigrid Schmeisser

Sigrid Schmeisser (AT/NL) is a geodesigner and artistic researcher whose practice is characterized by a site-responsive approach resulting in a range of multi-media based outcomes. A focus lies on investigating landfills as postnatural landscapes within the long-term project «Centre to Periphery». It includes a lecture performance (premiered at Dutch Design Week 2023, Soil Horizons 2024), and adapted live-version for the Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel, 2024.
